NEW DELHI: Priya Agarwal Hebbar, Non-Executive Director of Vedanta Ltd & Chairperson of Hindustan Zinc Ltd, has expressed her positive reaction to the 2023-24 Budget presented by the Indian government. According to her, the budget is forward-looking and focuses on unlocking opportunities for each and every Indian, thereby empowering them to lead better lives.
Woman Empowerment
The budget has made efforts to empower women through the creation of Producer Organisations, which is a key step towards empowering women and increasing their participation in the economy. Additionally, the budget’s focus on improving nutritional outcomes by mainstreaming millets and providing access to learning for children via a National Digital Library are some of the other notable initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of the people.

CSR of Vedanta
Vedanta has been a leading player in the CSR sector in India for many years and has been widely recognized for its impactful programs.
