NEW DELHI: The Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) was recognized for its work in health, education, and livelihoods at the 13th CSR Leadership Summit in New Delhi, receiving the India CSR award as a CSR implementing partner. The India CSR awards are given annually by the India CSR Network to recognize outstanding contributions to community development and CSR initiatives.
The foundation was honored by Chief Guest Shri R.K. Sinha, Hon’ble Former Rajya Sabha Member and, Founder & CMD of Security & Intelligence Services (India) Limited (SIS) in the presence of Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, Additional Chief Secretary to Govt., Planning, Program Monitoring & Statistics Dept., Govt. of Karnataka, and Rusen Kumar, Founder and Managing Editor of India CSR.
Ashok Behera, Vice President of the Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF), was presented with an award for CSR Implementing Partner for Health, Education, and Livelihood.
The Chief Guest praised the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) work being carried out by Companies.
BIPF, the CSR arm of IMFA, has also worked with NABARD and companies such as GECL to implement community projects as an authorized CSR registered body. This award serves to highlight BIPF’s credentials as a CSR partner and the foundation looks forward to collaborating with other companies to fulfill their CSR obligations in the state of Odisha. Several other companies and public sector units also received awards at the event.
The India CSR Awards, given annually by the India CSR Network, honor the best contributors in various fields of community development and CSR activities. BIPF serves as the CSR arm of IMFA and has also implemented projects for communities in collaboration with NABARD and corporations such as GECL as an authorized CSR registered body. Behera stated that the award solidifies BIPF’s credentials as a CSR partner for corporations and expressed a desire to work with other companies to fulfill CSR obligations under mandatory compliance requirements in Odisha.”
