It is done to find out what caused an issue initially. Techniques such as data mining, data recovery, and drill-down are examples. Businesses use these analytics as it offers a thorough insight into a specific issue.

Prescriptive Analytics

This analytics prescribes solutions to specific problems. It works well with both predictive and descriptive analytics. It relies on machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.
