As part of Bhumi’s Program ‘IGNITE’, Aspire Systems will provide supplementary Computer Science education for over 300 children belonging to class 9 and above, in and around Chennai

CHENNAI: Aspire Systems, leading global technology services firm-has announced its partnership with Bhumi, a independent non-profit organizations-for Program ‘IGNITE’, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
IGNITE is aimed at providing supplementary education for subjects including Computer Science, Mathematics and Science for under-privileged children belonging to class 9 and above, living in shelter homes and community centers. Aspire Systems will be providing supplementary education in Computer Science for over 300 children in and around Chennai, this year.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Prahalathan KK, Co-founder, Bhumi said, “Computer science is one of the most basic, yet vital subjects that every student should learn today. We are glad to partner with one of the leading global technology services company like Aspire Systems to help these children achieve their dreams”.
Aspire Systems and Bhumi have collaborated on various occasions in the past; the ‘Joy to the World’ project by Bhumi was one such initiative in April 2016, where Aspire employees picked up wish cards written by children and donated gifts that were distributed at Ramakrishna Mission Home in Mylapore. Furthermore, in July 2016, Aspire Systems and Bhumi teamed up to paint the Seva Samajam Children’s Home in Pallipattu, as part of the project BALA (Building As a Learning Aid).
