Dr. Ankur Sharan
Dr. Ankur Sharan, a young enthusiast with robust energy is a multifaceted persona. On professional front, presently he is heading Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution of Hindustan Times. With over 15 year cross functional experience, he is immensely talented having worked in Automotive, FMCG industry, Shipping Line and Print Media. At the same time, he keeps himself passionately absorbed in Philanthropic activities. It goes without saying; he is two sides of the same coin.
Awards and Recognition
A proud recipient of “World book of records” from London for recognition of Civic Participation in the Social & Community Context, Dr. Sharan received Icon of Asia-2022 award as a “Socialpreneur” for his active participation in Welfare undertakings. He was honored by Doctorate Degree by World Peace Institute of United Nations along with CSR award for “Best Socialpreneur of the Year – 2022. An active member of CSR Forum of India, he is associated with several EOU’s & Manufacturing units, encouraging & supporting Social Welfare Projects.
Known for his spokesmanship, he empowers various NGO’s, institutions, manufacturing units for constructing a sound CSR network, brand building and their supply chain requirements. Affiliated with renowned institutes for promotion of Indian Art & artisans, he diligently organized workshops to take this rare art from National to International forum. He is passionate calligrapher and running Art Nirbhar Bharat campaign where he is promoting calligraphy thru his ecosystem and designed a number of souvenirs for various institutions, University of Delhi, Haryana Red Cross etc.
Daksh Foundation
Being Chief Operating Officer at Daksh Foundation, organised several campaigns and cycle rallies under flagship of Municipal Corporation of Faridabad, Pollution Control Board, Haryana Police for social causes to save water, Pollution Free Environment & Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking. With Manav Rachna fortifying his strength, Daksh Foundation project “Khayaal Apne Boozugon ka” featured 75 senior citizen live interaction and their motivational talking whilst celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Social Work
Dr. Ankur is also a Management Trustee in Global Confederation of NGOs and on Advisory Board Member Panel of several social welfare institutions like Give me trees trust, Parmaarth Foundation, Road Safety Omni Foundation, Paryavaran Prerna, Indian Arts Guild, Global Youth Peace Committee, Skill Mind Foundation, Geebsys.com, Uneako.com to name a few. He judged several events, participated as a Jury Member and successfully delivered speeches. To sum up, he is endowed with genius, intellectual mind frame besides right bend of aptitude.
