BHUBNEWSWAR: The Aditya Birla Group handed over their contribution of Rs. 4.50 crores to a highly appreciative Naveen Patnayak, Chief Minister of Odihsa at Bhubneswar.
The Aditya Birla Group, known for its philanthropy and value based management, has come forward with help at time when the state is reeling under unprecedented floods.
Rabindra Mishra of Hindalco Industries Ltd, Ardhendu Mohapatra of Essel Mining and Industries Ltd, Amarjyoti of Ultratech Cement Ltd and P. Someswar Rao of Idea Cellular Ltd, met the Odihsa Chief Minister this evening to express the industrial group solidarity with the people of Odisha.
Strong presence in Odisha
The Aditya Birla Group has very strong presence in Odisha and group ventures such as Hindalco mega projects Aditya Aluminium, Utkal Alumina and Hirakud Smelter, Gramsim, Essel, Chaudamani Port, Ultratech and Idea Cellular and major contribution to the industrial boom in the state.
A highly pleased Naveen Patnaik was visibly moved by the Group’s gesture which is reportedly the highest by and private industrial House and assured that the contribution would be put to good use.
