Bhubaneswar – Aditya Aluminium – an Aditya Birla Group company has donated 4 Police Control Room (PCR) vans to the district police to help minimise the crime in the city.
This is not the first instant when the company has come forward to strengthen the local police coordination system. Last year, the company had donated six PCR vans to the district police. The step is likely to reduce crime through better communication and mobilisation of police personnels. This initiative of the company has drawn huge applause from all quarters in the district.
The event has been inaugurated by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Western Region, Satyabrata Bhoi and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sambalpur Sanjib Arora.
“This initiative of Aditya Aluminium is praiseworthy, and this will certainly help the Distt. Police in minimizing the crime in the district and reaching the remote locations of the district”, said Bhoi.
Kailash Nath Pandey, Unit Head, Aditya Aluminium, Jasbir Singh Malhotra, Head of Cluster HR, Sudheer Gupta, Head-HR and A. Satyanarayana Cluster Head CSR and Liaison were also present on occasion.
