Health experts are working to take steps to prevent humans from the spread of covid-19 across the world. In the current situation of the pandemic, the lives of many students, families, and communities are affected by the Covid-19. It has created a huge disruption of the education system, and approximately 1.6 billion students are suffering from the pandemic challenges in more than 190 countries.

Shutting down schools and other learning spaces impacted around 94% of the world’s population, and the approximately 99% population is disturbed in low & lower-middle-income countries. There are so many issues in the present time, and everyone is worried about the solutions for the problems. The students are also very worried about their studies, so this special article is about educational problems.

Impacts of Covid-19

College & universities are the places where students live and study in a close proximity environment. They are buzzing as a cultural hub where students are gathered from different nations around the world. In recent times, the foundation of this amazing ecosystem has been impacted rapidly due to coronavirus. According to a recent research report, more than 1.5 billion students in 165 countries are affected by the lockdown of educational institutions because of covid.

As a result, most of the institutes were forced to shift to different online platforms. The major impact of the disease is a decrease in quality education, and the students are also not paying attention to their studies to deliver the best results. Most of the students used the content in a form as it was published without proper citation. So, it will show plagiarism when they scan the textual assignment documents with an online plagiarism detector.

Challenges of online learning

There are, however, some challenges that we need to overcome to make the online education system productive. Some students may struggle to participate in digital learning because of instability or access to the internet and technology. So, the students don’t take the classes regularly and copy the content as it appears on the websites. They present someone else work in their assignments without knowing the consequences of plagiarism. So, they need to use the online plagiarism detector that helps to check for plagiarism.

This gap in technology availability is seen across countries, and institutions are working hard to improve their systems to educate them properly. For example, according to OECD data, 95% of students in Switzerland, Norway, and Austria have the facility to take online classes through desktop computers, and 34% of Indonesian students don’t have the appropriate technology to take digital classes.

Tools that can be Helpful for Online Learning

Here are the tools that students can use during online classes for quality education.

  • PlagiarismChecker.co:

The Free Plagiarism Checker by PlagiarismChecker.co is an online tool that helps students to create unique and quality educational assignments. This plagiarism tool also checks the duplication of the data from different online platforms. You can easily check plagiarism in your research papers, blogs, website content, and assignments. You need to copy the content you want to scan and paste it in the input section of this online plagiarism detector. You can search 800 words with this duplication checker, and with the paid version, you can scan up to 30,000 words.

  • Zoom Classes:

Zoom classes is an online platform that is designed for students for student learning and engagement. It includes one-click content sharing, group chats, and digital whiteboarding and helps the teachers ensure how attentively students are participating and learning retention. But make sure to check the duplication of the information you use in your content by using the plagiarism detector. Teachers can use different online features of the tool to track student’s attendance & attention. They can also stream videos to enable the students to learn at their own pace. Always remember to make a check for plagiarism before sharing the assignments with teachers.

  • Ekstep:

Ekstep is an online collaborative learning platform for the students and teachers, which offers equitable access to learning opportunities for every child. Teachers use this tool to create & publish interactive content for their students. Sometimes, plagiarism was found in the content because they don’t use any plagiarism detector tools to check its originality. This platform measures learning outcomes & creates an open framework to include scale investment.

  • Lark:

Lark is a one-stop solution for students to learn online, class schedules, notes, projects, assignments, reports, and more available things on the cloud. Usually, teachers use this medium to create robust & customizable lesson plans. Sometimes, teachers use external tools like plagiarism detector tools to check the credibility of the content submitted by the students.  The verified calendar feature of the tool allows the teachers to stay on top of their schedules. They use this feature to create a timetable for their classes and fix meetings with their colleagues.

Conclusion:

There is no doubt that the covid-19 brings so many problems and its effects are very dangerous for various reasons. In the education sector, the pandemic affects the whole education system. Students are unable to take their physical classes due to coronavirus. Many educational institutions shifted their physical classes to online video classes, but the online system’s unavoidable problem is not stable. So, students don’t pay attention to the studies because of the unstable online education system.
