MUMBAI: Technology is an enabler and has become an integral part of our life. Even the basic knowledge of computer management and the internet can go a long way in not only improving the employability but more importantly advancing the productivity in every field.
While the government of India has taken bold steps to digitize schools, the process in unable to reach all schools owing to various socio-political factors like small size of student population, extreme rural presence, non-aligned or independent village head candidates etc.
Credit Sudhaar, under its commitment to contribute to the society, undertook digitization of a primary school at Pimpri village in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. This small village comprising of about 250 houses, has primarily farming population. The village school has a student strength of 41 children, studying from 1 to 5 standards. Credit Sudhaar has helped set up computer, printer, projector and other basic required hardware along with software to help kids come up to speed with the required understanding of every changing digital scape.
CSR is so imbibed in the culture built within the organization that the employees volunteered to travel to the village and do the needful.
Credit Sudhaar is committed to continued efforts in giving back to society in whatever little ways it apart from building a culture where the staff works co-partners in making these initiatives a success.
