MyMobileUniversity strengthens global partnerships to create more awareness and better accessibility of FREE online education

Washington: LTT Global, a global pioneer in mobile learning, today celebrates the first anniversary of, its global CSR initiative, MyMobileUniversity. Launched one year ago today, MyMobileUniversity is a FREE learning platform designed to impact lives through education via its multiple learning channels, where contents are curated globally from leading universities, organizations, businesses schools, and public and private institutions.

“MyMobileUniversity was introduced at a very opportune moment as more and more people are looking for new ways to learn and further develop themselves,” said Wemel Cumavoo, MyMobileUniversity’s Founder and CEO. “In addition we are very keen on working with NGOs and CSR initiatives that are passionate about empowering communities with education.”

IndiaCSR (www.indiacsr.in), MyMobileUniversity’s global CSR partner, is promoting five areas of community development in collaboration with MyMobileUniversity. The five main focus areas are Youth Skills Development, Women and Girl Child Empowerment, Care for Environment, Work Place Education and Health and Nutrition. Additionally, MyMobileUniversity has built collaborative partnerships with multiple NGO’s in Uganda, and India who are using its program to empower and up-skills youths to become employable.

“I am very excited, as with MyMobileUniversity we will be able to empower individuals and organisations alike. An educated workforce helps organisations grow manifolds, and having been involved in the ICT sector for more than 20 years I am a strong believer in lifelong learning and sharing of knowledge,” said Vijay Sekhar.peesapati, Country Director for India. He added that with this platform people globally will have a common learning ground.

Globally students, professionals, and businesses have to remain relevant in their pursuit of success and to remain competitive. As a result, education on-the-go has become crucial to their success by providing students, professionals and businesses with scalable, online training solutions.

“MyMobileUniversity is a great one stop learning platform as it leverages on the latest digital educational technology to make learning accessible for all while simultaneously providing FREE education content delivered by the world’s best professors and subject matter experts,” said Dr Lawrence Wasserman, Honorary Advisor to MMU, and Country Director for USA.

A recent Telefónica Global Millennial Survey of young adults, aged 18 – 30 (http://survey.telefonica.com) showed Millennials believe that improving the access to, and quality of education to be the most important ways to make a difference in the world. In short Millennials believe technology empowers, enables and ensures them of their future success.

We call on organizations, both public and private, to come on board as our partners in education to encourage their staff to use MyMobileUni.com to empower their human capital development initiatives.

In line with those factors, MyMobileUniversity has become a Digital Malaysia company and partner in the education sector to help power human capital development throughout Malaysia. MyMobileUniversity has also formed strategic partnerships with Mobile Monday Global, Open University Malaysia, and Multimedia Development Corporation.

“We would like to kindly invite universities, companies, NGOs’, and public and private institutions to make available free content to power human capital development on our platform to reach out to both the local and international market as we aspire to create a knowledge based society and to promote lifelong learning”, further added, Wemel Cumavoo.
