NEW DELHI (India CSR): The ‘Save Culture Save Bharat Foundation’, in collaboration with Sanatan Sanstha, has announced the Shankhnad Mahotsav, scheduled to take place on 13th and 14th December 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi (Indraprastha). The event is being organised as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Sanatan Sanstha, dedicated to promoting Indian culture and spiritual values.
Delhi has been chosen as the venue owing to its significance as the nation’s capital and a central hub for cultural and social initiatives. The Mahotsav aims to highlight India’s rich cultural heritage, inspire social unity, and encourage awareness of India’s timeless traditions.
Key Highlights of the Event
1. Sanatan Sanskriti Samvad (Main Sessions)
To be held on 13th and 14th December in the main Convention Hall, these sessions will feature discussions led by experts on India’s cultural, social, and civilisational perspectives.
2. Historical Weapons and Cultural Exhibition
An exclusive exhibition will be hosted in Exhibition Hall 12 from 13th to 15th December, showcasing rare historical artefacts and displays on Indian cultural heritage. Visitors will also get a rare opportunity to witness the famed ‘Bhawani Talwar (Sword)’ of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Live demonstrations of traditional martial arts will be an added attraction.
3. Special Session: ‘Sanatan Rashtra for Global Welfare’
On 14th December, a special session will bring together noted speakers to discuss India’s cultural renaissance, national development, and global contributions.
A Collective Cultural Celebration
The Shankhnad Mahotsav aims to bring together citizens, thinkers, youth, and cultural enthusiasts to celebrate India’s civilisational ethos and inspire collective participation in preserving the nation’s cultural identity.
