The economy depends on science, technology, Engineering and Math’s. As people have realise the significance of STEM Education, they are gearing up to bring STEM Education into every classroom. The access to STEM Education should be reach through class sessions including theoretical and practical approach.
An Advanced Robotics Workshop was organised under STEM Enhancement project-component of Integrated Rural Development launched by United Way of Baroda in support with CSR Partner L.M. Wind Power.
This workshop catered to more than 170 students of the rural schools of Halol, Panchmahal. Students were provided practical experience on how to design advanced robotics and encourage them to involve themselves in innovations with the help of embedded systems.
Robotics is learning model for students to involve them in STEM pathway. Robotics is open for beginners and advanced students for learning various STEM concepts. Robotics is the most successful tool to create logical and analytical reasoning ability among the students. This is a platform of learning for the students to enhance themselves to work with the modern world.
Subject Experts explained the students behind basic laws and concepts regarding designing a robotic model. Student group were created and advanced material required were provided to each group. As the models were created, students run their robotic model for testing for proper functioning of the same. A wave of curiosity was seen among the rural students while participating in testing their robotics models.
