BTech in Computer Science is a four-year bachelor’s programme in computer science. The goal is to give students a thorough understanding of computer technology and functional processes and programming, coding, and Web & application creation.

Students who took Computer Science as an option in high school have a benefit over those who enter with no prior understanding of the subject. The objective of this program is the hands-on learning and allowing students to explore technological aspects while developing in them a strong desire to develop.

What is the Eligibility for Opting BTech Computer Science?

Candidates must have finished class 12th in a science discipline with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and from a recognized institution with the minimum marks provided by their selected university to qualify for a B Tech Computer Science.

Delhi Technological University (DTU)

Selection to DTU’s B.Tech. degrees is based on a candidate’s Class XII grades as well as their performance in the JEE Main examination. CBSE – 40% weightage and JEE Main – 60% weightage.

The program’s overall selection is based on seat placement by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. The fee for 1st year B Tech is Rs. 1.9 lakhs.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI)

Eligibility: 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 in the Science stream and the selection is based on JEE Main scores. The 1st year fee for a B Tech degree is Rs. 16,150.

Top Specializations in B Tech: Civil, Computer science, Electronics and Communication, and Mechanical.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)

Qualifications: 10+2 (PCM) with an overall grade of 80% and a specific grade of 80% in mathematics. JEE Mains accompanied by JAC counselling are the qualifying criteria. 1st-year fee for B Tech programs is Rs. 2.25 lakhs.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)

Qualifications: 10+2 (PCM) with an overall grade of 80% and a specific grade of 80% in mathematics. JEE Mains accompanied by JAC counselling are the deciding factors. 1st-year fee for the B Tech program is Rs. 3.75 lakhs.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT)

Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized institute and cleared the JEE Main examination. JEE Main exam and JoSAA counselling are used to pick the candidates. The 1st year fee for the B Tech course is Rs. 1.9 lakhs.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT)

Top specialization in B Tech in this institute are Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical, Automation Engineering, etc. Requirements: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the primary subjects is mandatory. Applicants must have a valid result in the JEE Main/ IPU CET test to get qualified. The total fee for a B Tech degree is Rs. 4.69 lakhs.

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering

Requirements: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as necessary disciplines with a minimum of 60% in each subject. The 1st year fee for a B Tech degree is Rs. 1.3 lakhs.
