Facebook remains at the top with a whopping 2.6 billion users online. No matter how many social media apps come, Facebook remains.

Facebook provides something unique that no other platform can. Your Facebook account is part of your identity. With a change in its algorithm, Facebook’s organic reach has dipped substantially. However, we have ways to increase Facebook engagement.

Today, we will discuss these strategies with you. If you wish to raise your engagement rates immediately, you can buy real and active Facebook followers. With an increased follower count you can start boosting your posts with results not so far.

Let us dive into the ways to increase Facebook engagement –

1. When and How much to post?

Focus on quality instead of quantity/volume. Posting less can increase your engagements. Chances are you will share the best content if you post once or at best twice daily. Anything above 2 posts per day is not a good idea for Facebook. Your views per share of content will get divided. GIFS work best on Twitter while hashtags work best on Instagram, but none works on Facebook.

Post timings differ from one brand to another. Your target audience determines which is the best time to post on Facebook. If your target age demographic is school/college kids, you better post on weekends.

2. What to Post?

You should try videos as part of your content strategy. Videos can leverage the kind of engagements you are looking for. Most Facebook users scroll through their newsfeed and stop only at a video.

Moreover, videos are worth more than 60,000 written words. Better expression leads to better engagement/impression rates on Facebook.

3. Going Live More Often

Live videos are ranked higher than the ones which are not. Moreover, people comment more on live videos than on any other videos on Facebook. When you go live, your followers will check your non-live content. That way your overall engagement on Facebook is bound to rise.

Here are a few things you should try while going live –

  • Show your followers behind the scenes of your processes, events, or your office space
  • Let your audience interact with you through a Q&A session.
  • Bring in experts from your industry and conduct a fun one-to-one interview
  • You can demonstrate concepts and products best on a live show
  • Discuss upcoming events and launches
  • Share tips with your followers

You should try videos as part of your content strategy. Videos can leverage the kind of engagements you are looking for. Most Facebook users scroll through their newsfeed and stop only at a video. Moreover, videos are worth more than 60,000 written words. Better expression leads to better engagement/impression rates on Facebook. Improve your Facebook presence by buying followers initially to grow your page. Do this before posting a particularly important content (be it a video or a status). So that it can reach out to the audience you are targeting.

Replying to good comments is also important. Strike a conversation, if need be. If you have not enough followers to get the comments you need, make your Facebook profile more popular by purchasing a few followers. That way you will increase the overall engagement.

4. Curated Content

Share user-submitted photos and content on your Facebook Page as a buffer. Many times you may not even find something suitable to post. Sharing something useful is key here. Information related to your niche need not always come from your web page alone.

Sharing other’s content may feel weird at first. But, trust us when we say it will increase your engagements. The idea is to share relatable content. If you are a cosmetics company, you may want to share valuable tips shared by the company Mac. User-generated content has huge potential too.

5. Experiment

Do not forget to experiment with brand-new kinds of content. Your Facebook page will likely become dormant if you do not experiment.

You can try Coca-Cola’s budgeting rule of 70/20/10 for marketing.

  • 70% of low-risk traditional marketing
  • 20% of new & innovative, deeply engaging content that resonates with some users
  • 10% high-reward to high-risk ratio purely experimental content that may or may not become viral

6. Giveaways

That’s actually a great way to gain more Facebook followers and increase your engagement. People engage better if you put up a prize for some contest. Giveaways are perfect if you are trying to capture the market sooner.

If your page is new do not post giveaways that may seem too good to be true. That is why giveaways testimonial videos and your resharing that becomes vital. People must have faith in their giveaways. Too many conditions labeled on your giveaways contests may put people off.

Giveaways are perfect to hold on to your audience for a longer time.

7. Comment Replies

Replying to comments can be one of the better ways to engage an audience. Treasure comments from your followers. It does not matter if these comments are good or bad.

If someone is complaining of bad service from your end, you should definitely comment back. Do not sound harsh, monotonous, and sarcastic in your comment replies. Offer to resolve any issues.

Replying to good comments is also important. Strike a conversation, if need be.

Conclusion

Moreover, choose the quality of posts on Facebook over quantity. You need to be patient and enigmatic at the same time. Keep a separate content calendar for Facebook because not everything works here.

Make sure to reshare user experiences on your page to gain maximum traction. Do not forget to analyse Facebook Insights before deciding the best ways of marketing your Facebook page.
