The Global Summit is being held on March 18th and 19th, 2011 at the J.W. Marriott in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. Theme for the 2011 Global Summit on Mentoring and Philanthropy is “Changing the Face of Wealth”.
It is our inaugural multicultural event honoring 90 women from across the nation with diverse backgrounds, and cultures. We are celebrating women in honor of Women’s History Month. We are featuring over 25 Speakers for our dynamic and exhilarating workshops, seminars, and panels on Mentoring, the new paradigm of wealth, philanthropy, arts, sports and entertainment.
The Red Carpet Experience will be held on Friday, March 18th at 6:30pm at the Marriott Hotel and hosted by Actor Josef Cannon, Robyn Spizman and Patricia Russell McCloud. Mayor Kasim Reed, will be our keynote speaker and entertainment will be provided by Opera singer Sherri Seiden. What an exciting time this will be!!
The Mentor/Mentee Partnership Luncheon featuring our famous Celebrity and Athletes Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, March 19th at 1:00pm at the JW Marriott in Buckhead and will close out the Global Summit. Our Sensational and Electrifying Keynote Speaker for this illustrious event is Lisa Nichols, the Author of No Matter What, and participant in the film and book “the Secret”. This Luncheon promises to be the National Table Talk for years to come.
Our prestigious and spellbinding Celebrity and Athletes Fashion Show will take place immediately after the Lunch and will feature Celebrity Models, local Athletes and the Designs of Kay Unger of New York. Sherise Brown producer of the NFL Wives Super bowl Fashion Show for 2011 is also the Producer of this Fashion Show which is our National. Fundraiser. The theme of our Celebrity Fashion Show is “An Unforgettable Moment in Time in Paris”. Our host for this event will be Denise Obrien, former Ms. California International and Founder of Wings of Love Int’l. Makeup for our Celebrity Fashion Show is provided by Mary Kay, Inc.
