WEST BEKARO: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Tata Steel West Bokaro Division organized a one-day free Mega Health Camp today at Upgraded Middle School, Fakodih under Mandu block of Ramgarh district.
Mayank Shekhar, Chief, Quarry AB, Tata Steel (West Bokaro) inaugurated the health camp in the presence of Ms Achita Devi, Mukhiya, Barughutu North, Keshav Ranjan, Unit Head, TSRDS and Dr Jayant Tripathy, Senior Registrar, CSR.
Aravind Kumar and Ruplal from District TB Unit, Ramgarh also attended the mega health camp and informed the public on various methods to prevent and control Tuberculosis.
414 patients from Fakodih and 6 surrounding villages namely Banji, Durukasmar, Parej, Birhore Tola, Agarwa Tola and Karmatia availed health services at the day long Mega Health Camp. In the camp, consultation by specialist doctors from Medicine, ENT, Dental and Dermatology disciplines were provided to the patients along with free medicines. Apart from this, on the spot pathological investigations were also undertaken for proper diagnosis.
7 specialist doctors from Tata Central Hospital, West Bokaro and TSRDS volunteered their services for the camp. This was the eight such health camp in Mandu block organised by Tata Steel in this financial year.
