NEW DELHI: The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Institute of Cost Accountants of India (erstwhile known as ICWAI) are organizing one day workshop on July 13, 2012 at Magnolia Hall, India Habitat Centre New Delhi. The aim of the workshop is to collect feedback on the Exposure Draft of Sustainability Reporting Guidelines – G4.
The Exposure Draft has been created by expert Working Groups from around the world, based on the input GRI received in the first G4 Public Comment Period (PCP) in late 2011.
In the workshop, participants will have the chance to discuss important questions about the Exposure Draft, posed by GRI’s Technical Advisory Committee. The workshop, which is being held as part of the second Public Comment Period (PCP) for G4, provides an opportunity for GRI stakeholders to discuss the proposed changes in G4, to generate input for the PCP, and to create awareness of G4.
The workshops will be facilitated either by a representative from the GRI Secretariat in Amsterdam, or by a GRI Focal Point leader in the region. The workshop will be in English.
Admission is by invitation only and registration is requested by 5th July 2012. This event is interesting for senior management, the corporate responsibility team, and report preparers. You are welcome to bring a colleague to the event, but please note that due to limited space only two persons per organization can be accepted. Kindly note that there are limited seats and registration would be on first come first served basis.
Incase you have not done so already, please register here to save your seat. For further information, please refer to the agenda. Please contact Rubina Sen, GRI Focal Point India Coordinator, for any clarification.
The second consultation will be held in Mumbai on 4th August 2012.
