MUMBAI : Textile Promotion & Vocational Skill Enterprise Vaitarna has organized a hands-on participatory interactive Two days intensive Visual workshop Program- Crash Tex on BASICS OF TEXTILES to understand all about Textiles and to promote the Feel of actual samples and learn to understand about fibers & fabrics. This intensive two day training short course is organized for the benefit of all those who are engaged in manufacture, research & development as well as the commercial aspects of textile business. The course is made up of seven modules covering Fibers, Yarns, Weaving, Warp & Weft Knitting, Non-woven Fabrics, Dyeing & Finishing and Fabric Testing & Analysis.
Designers and merchandisers in the textile and clothing industry very often use incorrect terminology when referring to the various textile goods. Sometimes the fabrics selected are inappropriate to the design of the garment or its intended end-use. Basics of Textiles is a new and intensive 2 day course aimed at both new entrants to the textile industry or those requiring a deeper understanding of textiles, their manufacture, properties, performance and quality issues.
This interactive workshop is suitable for people engaged in the supply chain as well as manufacturers, designers, merchandisers and retailers. Technologists and those involved in financial and commercial aspects of the industry will find this course of benefit. No prior knowledge of textiles is necessary for this specialized short course.
