BENGALURU: Omega Healthcare Management Services Pvt. Ltd., a Bengaluru based healthcare outsourcing services provider, is pleased to support Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur and help the Mission raise money to build a multi-specialty charitable hospital in south Gujarat with a facility of around 200 beds.
The Mission is presentinga play on Mahatma Gandhi titled, Yugpurush- Mahatma Na Mahatma which will bring out the spiritual relationship between Shrimad Rajchandra, a saint and luminary, and Gandhiji. TheGujarati play is directed by the renowned director Rajesh Joshi and written by Uttam Gada. Omega Healthcare is happy to sponsor the Kannada version of the play this Sunday, June 25th.
The rural population of the Valsad district of Gujarat rank amongst the poorest in the state,facing poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, and the lack of health awareness, leading to a myriad of health concerns.
Gujarat has the fifth highest shortfall of specialists including surgeons. As per Rural Health Statistics by Government of India, there is an acute shortage of surgeons at Community Healthcare Centres in Gujarat, which has just 32 surgeons while the requirement is roughly around 320.This charity hospital will help the state bridge the gap between accessibility and affordability of healthcare services.
