NEW DELHI : A Traffic Awareness Workshop was organized by NGO MIW Foundation with Support of Larsen & Toubro and was conducted by expert team of Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. for the students of Bal Bharti Public School, Old Rajinder Nagar New Delhi
There were two sets of activities : Shining Stars of Road Safety SR Activity (13 years to 15 years Age Group) and CRF 50 Activity for Junior Classes.The key activities of the workshop included awareness on road safety measures, training on latest methods of road safety and to prepare safe future drivers by inculcating good habits of road safety and by following the rules of road safety and law of land.

The objectives is to inculcate a sense of road safety and correct attitude among students to groom them up into responsible road using citizens.The literature on road safety is also being distributed among the students to aware them regarding road safety. The camp was Honoured by the Presence of Sanjeev Sharma ( Larsen & Toubro ), B.L. Chadha ( Larsen & Toubro ), Gulshan Garg (MD Shri Sai Creation), rakesh Vats ( All India Section Head Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd)
Commenting on the initiative Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee of MIW Foundation said that “Traffic Awareness Workshop” was conducted for spreading road safety culture in the new generation and create awareness amongst students who are future road users. Educating students about safety awareness and creating helmet wearing habits at an early age will help reduce risks while traveling on the Roads”
