DEHRADUN: In association with “Green earth Aliance”, PHD Chamber is organizing an “International Conference on Social Entrepreneurship & Strategic CSR Linkages” on 21st-22nd December 2012 at Doon University, Dehradun, Uttarankand . INDIACSR is the media partner at the mega event.

Union Minister Mr. Harish Rawat, will inaugurate the conference and speak about the views  & action plans of Govt. of India on this very important topic of discussion. Mr. Rakesh Sharma IAS, Principal Secretary & Head -SIDCUL (State Industrial Development  Corporate of Uttarakhand),  Govt. of Uttarakhand   is the guest of honour  along with  Executive Director BHEL,  CSR- Head ONGC,  Director IIT-Roorkee and Vice Chancellor–Doon University.

Dr. Vivek Agarwal, UN Habitat Awardees & Head CDC Jaipur, who has transformed the landscape of Sanitation &  SWM (Solid Waste Management) model in the country will  also speak about  the  challenges   faced by  them to become Rs 50 Crore  Social Enterprise and creating employment opportunity  for 10,000 youths in the country.

Mr. S.K Patra, President/CEO of Patanjali  Food Park  will share  his experience  to bring  Patanjali at international  level as Social Enterprise.  Arun Raghav  VP HR ITC, will be talking about  the  responsible  approach of leading  Corporate   in the country and  their strategic CSR model.

Ms. Kalpana Heblekar, CEO   of   HandiKraft  Sourcing, Bangalore &  Ms. Mridula Chandra, of  HSDRC, Jaipur, Ms. Binita Shah of Organic Board (UK Govt.) will share their experience  that how backward  & Forward market linkages  can  empower  rural  women and artisans in rural Karnataka, Rajasthan  and Uttarakhand region. Financial Institutions like NABARD, SBI, SIDBI  etc. will highlight  their plans & schemes to support SEs at micro to macro level  for  their social  and financial inclusion.

Rusen Kumar, Director- India CSR (India’s Largest CSR News Portal), will share his part of experience in networking  CSR champions  across the  country . Motivational Speaker , Author and ex- Secretary Bar Council Supreme Court of India  Mr.  Ashok Arora  will  give  talk on  Spirituality, Business Ethics & CSR in present age.   Direct experience of Tata Jagriti Yatra  (Largest SE Promotional  Journey) in mentoring  young   entrepreneurs will  also be discussed  by Ritesh Garg  and his dynamic  Young India team(alumni of FMS/BHU and  other leading B Schools).

Delegates  will get   opportunity  interact with  much more creative and innovative  Social Enterprnises (Micro  and Macro level) from Kerala to Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan to  Karnatka and  Uttar Pradesh  to  hill of  Uttatakhand.

Evenings  will bring excitement  & warm-ness  in this chilling winters  by showing  folk music and  dance  of  Uttarakhand Hills and  may be  by  some hidden talent from the  young and vibrant delegates itself.

Early Morning  sessions (22nd Dec.12)  will start with Meditation and Yoga   under the supervision of Yog Guru Shri Rajesh Arora followed  by hot tea.

Field   visit  to Patanjali Food Park/ Haridwar  will be another  life time experience , when  delegates will meet  Face to face  with  local  rural  SHGs and  micro level  enterprise  combining with state of  art manufacturing  units of Patanjali with SE.
