PUNE: HealOne’s Community Initiative “Celebrating Life” received a huge response this Sunday. A total of 200+ participants took part in various medical check-ups, counseling sessions and therapies. The main aim of the event was to bringing out the positivity of the mind and body through various counseling and therapeutic sessions. Attendees also took benefits from one-day discounted rates for Specialty and Super Specialty consultations, Diagnostics & Lab packages, etc.
Commenting on the program, Shankar Mridha, COO, HealOne, says, “This event was organized to create the awareness of having healthy mind and body through various alternative therapies. This would also help people realize how sometimes these counseling and therapies can become an option to fight ailments instead of immediately turning to medicines for help. Our team at HealOne and the various experts who were a part of the event have helped us deliver a strong message across the attendees to take out time from their busy schedule and celebrate life. We have started these alternative therapies as a service offering at HealOne and it is an open for all as an option available for anyone who would like to improve their health. By doing this we would in whatever small bit we can contribute towards the welfare of the society.”

I appreciate HealOne’s efforts in organizing such a Community Welfare program, which helped the people in and around Pune benefit through various activities. Sandeep Chougule (Iyengar Yoga specialist) helped people relax with different forms of Yoga. He also discussed on different topics of yoga such as postures, stretching and breathing. Similarly, Prof. Tanmoy Halder(Classical Dancer) helped participants realize how rhythm and body awareness in dancing could act like a therapy and help people heal from stress and anger issues. Sister Prema and Navin Bhai, from Bramhakumaris Spiritual University shared their perspectives on the need to have peace of mind and meditation to use the power of the supreme and eternal. Dr. Shreeram Agashe (Ayurvedic Specialist) shared the essence of Aurveda in self-healing. He also cleared a lot of myths about Ayurvedic system of medicine . Dr Agashe also shared the concepts of integrated medicine where combination of Ayurveda and modern medicine at times gives the best result for the patient. Shankar Mridha (NLP Master & Graphologist) took the sessions on Neuro Linguistic Programming where he discussed with the attendees on topics such as use of NLP in communication, relationship building and the power of subconscious mind.
