FKCCI organizes CSR Conference at Bengaluru

Ashutosh Pandit, Founder and CEO Stem Learning being honoured as Best CSR Project in Social Sector

BENGALURU: FKCCI has conducted CSR Conference and Awards on June 21, 2018 at its head quarter at Bengaluru. Dr. G Parameshwara, Deputy Chief Minister Government of Karnataka and R V Deshpande, Minister for Revenue, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood graced the Occasion. Amulya Jagadish, cine artist, was also present during the occasion.

India CSR Network, India’s Largest CSR Network join the conference as outreach partner make it successful.

FKCCI CSR Conference and Awards – 2018 was the biggest CSR event in Karnataka, which brought together companies, NGOs, Government agencies, social enterprises and advisory organizations to share and learn. It had become a platform to showcase projects and programs; to learn from peers; to initiate new partnerships; to find new resources; and to understand how CSR is playing a vital role in developing Karnataka.

The following technical sessions were deliberated during the event by the subject experts, including business leaders, CEOs, Chairmen and Managing Directors of Private & Public Sectors and high level Government officials. There was an active participation of over 300 participants from business leaders, industrialists, policy makers, NGO’s, Governance & CSR professionals.

Technical Session–II: INNOVATE: Showcase by Six Social Innovators, Social Enterprise

Technical Session–III: IMPACT Panel Discussion: Social Impact Stories by CSR Leaders

Technical Session–IV: IMPLEMENT Panel Discussion: High Impact Initiatives by partner organizations.

Technical Session-V: IGNITE panel discussion: Responsible Business and Purpose Driven Business – Sustainability Leaders, CSR Heads and SDG Champions

Technical Session-VI: INSPIRE: Leadership Talk by Social Leaders, CEOs, Foundation Heads and from NGO Leaders.

The aim of the program was to recognize the best CSR and innovative projects, which will help to translate best practices into concrete action on the ground. The awards was to encourage the organizations (regardless of their size) on social projects or program and increase the recognition of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles in their operations.
