On the occasion of closing ceremony of 10-day Mega Health Festival the entire spectator got surprised when the First Prize for the best Health Services rendered to the people of Latehar was given to Abhijeet Group and no any other prize was given to any of the companies, Banks, Govt. Departments and NGOs.

LATEHAR (Jharkhand): SRIJAN- A concept conceived by District Administration to organize a Mega Health camp cum Festival cum Exhibition first of its kind ever organized in the history of Latehar has astonished whole state for its splendid celebration which witnessed . Event was held during the 23 february to 3 March 2012.
Chief Minister Arjun Munda as its chief guest, Baidyanath Ram, HRD Minister and Hemlal Murmu, Health Minister as Special Guests.
The event was organized in sports stadium in Latehar where more than 50 stalls were occupied by Govt. Departments, Banks, NGOs and Corporate Houses like ESSAR, Electrosteel, Tubed Coal Mines Ltd. (A Joint venture of TATA and Hindalco), Adhunik Group, TATA Steel, HINDALCO and Abhijeet Group.
All corporate houses displayed their best CSR Activities being rendered/executed in the district of Latehar in areas like Education, Rural Infrastructure, Environment, Sustainable Livelihood and Social Upliftments and more exclusively on Health. The stalls were visited by all the ministers, DC, DDC and all other Govt. Officials including stall of Abhijeet Group where everyone was handed over our CSR Annual News letter also.

A good note was announced in appreciation of the CSR activities being executed by Abhijeet Group and a shield and Appreciation Letter were given to the representative of the company.
Rajeev Goyal, Vice President and Chief Construction Manager said the most awaited Power Plant of Abhijeet Group being set up in Chandwa, Latehar is all set to get started this year and these all could become legitimate only because of our commitment for Social and Community development which has always been commensurate with the industrial development.
We set example to other companies by demonstrating the best performance in creating a very well-rounded society in which all stakeholders can take great pride and more importantly we believe in compassionate actions to make the area a better place for future generations.
