NEW DELHI: HPM Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd has adopted 9 girls from SOS Children Village of India taking a lead to bring prosperity in life of orphan girls under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Girl Adoption.
The power-packed program aims to nurture, protect and care orphan girls by providing food, shelter, medical care, educational assistance, adoption advocacy that breaks the cycle of dependence.
HPM donated an amount of 97,200 rupees for the education of girls. It also distributed notebooks, tiffin boxes and 150 water bottles for rest of the children.
The company is also adamant at offering its services for the betterment of underprivileged children. It also sponsors kidney and heart transplants for such children every month.
