CSR and Solar Conference in Odisha on 6 October

BHUBNEWSWAR:  Odisha’s First Solar Conference in Hotel Mayfair, Bhubaneswar is scheduled on 6th October 2012. This conference is meant to devise more ideas on solar policies, schemes, incentives for both solar power plants as well as solar roof-top projects, the future schemes of solar and how to fulfill Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO). This is organized by TiE Bhubaneswar along with Canyon Consultancy Pvt. Ltd and SEMI India. OERC (Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission), IPICOL (Team Odisha) and GRIDCO are supporting this event to promote solar industry in Odisha.

“We are also inviting people from US Commercial Department and IFC (International Finance Corporation) for disseminating idea on solar project financing. There will be a keynote address by the Chairman of Solar Energy Association of Gujarat (SEAG) about the pros and cons of solar projects, who brings in 800MWs of solar experience with him.” Kirti Ranjan Mohanty, Manager, Conference informed INDIACSR.

On top of all, best of the Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Commissioning) companies would be present in the conference with whom you can interact for better solar power solutions.
