ANGUL: The students of Junior Red-Cross (JRC) wing of OP Jindal School situated at Nisha, Angul kicked-off a campaign for a social awareness programme on Causes and Prevention of Jaundice at Angul bus stop today. Taking up the burning issue “Jaundice” as their theme of the awareness drive, the students elaborated on various preventative measures to keep this disease at a bay. They also distributed various awareness leaflets among people.
While inaugurating the campaign and extending his good will for the public Mr. C.C. Das, Principal, OPJS advised the students to work for the mission of Junior Red-Cross and turn to be dedicated social worker.
A team of 25 students participated in this awareness campaign drive under the guidance of by Mr. R.K Tripathy, Teacher and Counselor, OPJS JRC wing. This initiative by OPJS Students was appreciated by the citizens of Angul and general public as a whole.
