LANJIGARH: Madan Jakesika of Kurli G.P in Bissam Cuttack block belongs to a Primitive Group named Dongaria Kondh who has achieved 8.2 CGPA in matriculation in the CBSE term.

He is the 2nd son of Manda Jakesika and Teledi who has been struggling for getting quality education in his life. Initially he has been studying in odia medium up to class 4th, but after the inspiration of his elder sister Drinja Jakesika he joined in English medium in Rama Krishnan Mission school based at Hata Muniguda.

Drinja Jakesika is currently working as the sarapanch of Dongaria Kondh G.P Kurli, who is a social worker. She think that Education is the only way towards eradicate the poverty from her community and will bring development.
So she aims to create more educated dongaria students from her Gram Panchayat. Initially she had been working in DKDA School as a Peon; within that minimum amount she gives all the money to her brother.

She never neglects her brother on study. She has a dream how his brothers from dongaria Community will talk in English and can represent at the district, state and national level. Slowly Mr Madan has tried to fulfill the dream of his sister and wants to become a doctor/Engineer in future. Now he has decided to take admission in +2 Science .

All these shows that the dongaria people have chosen the way of development in term of Health, Education and Infrastructure. They clearly convinced that without education, there is no development.

So they have been giving priority on Education. Similarly this year around 06 students from Dongaria Community has passed Matriculation in odia Medium. Morning shows the day; Madan tries for achieving good marks in exam, for which he has been studying day & night. He says that only education can make our area development more and more.
