Shakti Pumps installs 2 solar water pumps in Latur

Shakti_LogoMUMBAI: As part of its CSR activity the pumps and motors firm, Shakti Pumps installed two complete solar water pumps within a radius of 5,000 sq ft in the village Madansuri falling under the Nilanga block of Latur district of Marathawada region which is faced with parched days for past three years.

Latur CSR-1 The idea was to help farmers and villagers who are faced with high level of water crisis and free them from the problem of power shortage. Finally, the villagers were able to take water coming out of the bore, installed by Shakti Pumps for drinking purpose on May 20.

Latur CSR-2This effort by the company has been highly appreciated by the area sarpanch Shivaji Mane and other residents of the village.
