Sesa Sterlite Participated in the Cleanliness drives in Lanjigarh

Lanjigarh: As per prime minister’s declaration to make the country clean, Sesa Sterlite has been celebrating Swachha Bharat Mission at Various Places with making awareness to the school going children and the villagers at a lot. Company under its PR department have made awareness program at Lanjigarh, Chhatrapur, Batilima covering 03 G.Ps in Lanjigarh Block.

Initially the program has been inaugurated by Mr Bijit Nayak-Principal Sc & ST College cum SSD High School, Lanjigarh in the presence of Sitakant Pradhan, Bibhu Samantra, Jitendra Nag, Sidhartha Behera and Dilip Sahu.On the occasion Chief Guest Mr Nayak said that Cleanliness needs to be started from now here  and then it will move home and later to villages. He praised Sesa Sterlite for doing such type of awareness program for creating a better surrounding with a aim to make the area clean.

Later the students were distributed with leaflets on cleanliness slogans and took pledges to make their environment neat and clean. Then all the students along with the villagers as well as the teachers came forward to clean their campus with full of joy and enthusiasm.

Similarly company has organized another cleanliness drive under Swachha Bharat Mission at Batilima Primary school where Mr. Dhanu Majhi Sarapanch of Batilima G.P attended and started the sanitation work. He addressed the community to make their village clean from today on wards. Others presented in the eve are Mr Trinath Majhi-Samiti Member Batilima G.P and Nakula patra School Management Committee President.

At last the students of Chhatrapur Panchayat high school also participated in the cleanliness drive in the afternoon where teachers as well as villagers participated. Sesa Sterlite has displayed various Banners, Posters, distributes leaflets to make the community awareness and take necessary actions on cleanliness.
