Sesa Sterlite extended help  to  Mountaineer Jogabyas

Lanjigarh: Local Mountaineer Mr Jogabyas Bhoi is famous for mountaineering; crossed Everest few years back and also Mt Kilimanjaro expedition in South Africa. Mr.K.K.Dave COO,Sesa Sterlite ltd handed over a cheque of Rs.1 Lakh only  to Jogabyas at Lanjigarh . Mr  Bhoi is going to climb Mt  AKANZUA in South America and Mt. DENALI  in North America in this month .

Earlier In 2009, he had attended a base camp at Mt Everest, 20,000 ft .On this occasion Mr. Dave ,COO Sesa Sterlite says” Kalahandi is proud for Jogabyas Bhoi who has made several records in his name.

Receiving the cheque Mr Bhoi praised Company for support since the beginning at every occasion and he will bring more mountaineers in this region in future. . “All is in the mind and if you will try then success come to the hand” Says Jogabyas Bhoi, a tenacity and grit displayed by an ordinary Kalahandian who desired to scale new heights since childhood.

Previously SSL has supported Rs.50, 000 for his Mt Kilimanjaro expedition in South Africa and Rs.2 Lakh on Everest climb. Company has also extending its support towards engagement of youth in sports and cultural activities. In the expensive tour to America, there is a need of various Govt. & Private Sector support to his journey as 1st odia Mountaineer.
