MUMBAI: The 4th Annual Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) Conference on CSR which was scheduled on 22nd June, 2017 at Hotel Taj Mahal Palace, Colaba, Mumbai has been postponed to Monday July 10, 2017.
It’s the 4th year since the introduction of Companies Act 2013 and notification of Section 135. Since India was one of the first countries across the world to mandate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), there is a growing interest among various stakeholders to see how the scenario is progressing. What was earlier a voluntary pursuit for corporates has now become a regulatory requirement. Education (including skilling), Technology and Healthcare themes have been favorites of companies for implementing CSR projects among many other. Against this backdrop, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce will be organizing the Conference this year.
