RAJAHMUNDRY: Oil and gas major ONGC has paid Rs 20 lakh to Virinchi Charities towards construction of Home for the Aged in Rajahmundry under Corporate Social Responsibility, a press note released here said.
A cheque of Rs 20 lakh was presented by A A Khan, Executive Director of the company to Virinchi Charities officials in the presence of V Arun Kumar, Rajahmundry MP, a ONGC release said here today.
Speaking on the occasion Khan said ONGC has spent nearly Rs 3 crore this fiscal so far towards CSR and urged the beneficiaries to act as ambassadors of ONGC.
