CHANDWA (Jharkhand): When it comes to the matter of electricity in the district of Latehar, everyone here gives credit to Abhijeet Group that constructed 33 KV Transmission Line from Kudu to Chandwa with the cost of more than Rs. 12 Crores because of which more than 100 villages are able to get the electricity. Moreover, at the time of any fault in transmission line or the time of requirement of resources the villagers use to have no option than contacting company officials because of quick and certain remedy of the same.
The inhabitants of Balumath Block were in disgusting situation when the existing transformer at substation could not take the load of the connection and the people were deprived of electricity because of frequent power trips.
The Electricity department arranged an additional transformer of 3.15 MVA but it was difficult for them to displace it from Chandwa to Balumath because of scarcity of resources. The local people contacted the Chief Construction Manager (CCM) of Abhijeet Group Rajeev Goyal who immediately took the initiative and thereafter under the Guidance of M.S. PIllai, General Manager Electrical and Engineers from State Electricity Board completed the herculean task.
According to the residents of several villages in the Block, the work was pending for the last several days and Govt. officials and local had no clue for the said works.
