PUDUCHERRY: Kokuyo Camlin leading stationery and art materials marketer in the country, today celebrated Principals’ Day. This is the third year in the row that Kokuyo Camlin has celebrated Principals’ Day by getting School Principals to deliberate on how they can Make Learning Fun for school children here. R. Kamalakannan, Minister of Agriculture, Electricity, Education including Collegiate Education, DRDA, Community Development, Fire Services and Sainik Welfare was the Chief Guest for the occasion.

In keeping with the Kokuyo Camlin philosophy – ‘Let’s Making Learning Fun’- School Principals from Puducherry and Tamil Nadu took part in an interactive discussion highlighting efforts and innovative learning techniques that they have undertaken in their schools to make learning fun for their students.

Speaking on the occasion, Saumitra Prasad, Chief Marketing Officer, Kokuyo Camlin Ltd, said, “Camlin shares a strong bond with schools across the country. We are very excited to celebrate the 3rd edition of Principals’ Day. While Camlin also celebrates Children’s Day and Teacher’s Day, we took the initiative of creating Principals’ Day two years ago to recognize the crucial role that Heads of Institutions and Schools play in shaping and moulding young minds. A Principal is an administrator, educator, psychologist, motivator and thought leader of the school, however, their contribution is often not recognized, so today is the day to express our gratitude to them.”

This year Kokuyo Camlin joined hands with Cavin Kare Group of Schools celebrated the Principals day. Some of the schools that participated in the celebration were Ck School of Practical Knowledge, Cuddalore, Acharya Siksha Mandir, Puducherry, St. John’s International Residential School, Chennai, Amrita Vidyalayam, Puducherry to name a few.
