ISBTI Organizes Blood Donors Motivation Conference in KITM Kurukshetra

isbti logoKURUKSHETRA: Indian Society of Blood Transfusion & Immunohaematology (ISBTI) in association with NSS (National Service Scheme) organized a conference on blood donors motivation on March 30, 2013 at Kurukshetra Institute of Technology & Management (KITM), Kurkshetra, Haryana.

Indian Red Cross Society actively participated in the conference.  The purpose of this conference was to provide an effective platform to individuals and organizations how have been working to the cause of voluntary blood donation in the region.

The conference was attended by regular blood donors, camp organizers and voluntary organization from nearby districts of Kurukshetra. Donors and organizers  shared their feelings and experiences after donating blood. In the experience sharing session, regular donors and motivators shared their in a heart touching and thought-provoking manner. Students member of NSS Unit at KITM played important role to make the conference successful.

Dr Yudhbir SinghThe Inaugural function was graced  by ISBTI National President –Dr.Yudhbir Singh (IAS) as chief guest and key note speaker.

In his motivational speech Dr Yudbhir Singh enlightened the gathering about various important social aspects of blood donation in a very simple way. Dr Singh inspired youths to come forward for the social cause and betterment of the society.

Dr Yudbhir Singh said that ISBTI has a mission to achieve 100% voluntary blood donation by recruiting blood donors from unexplored areas through voluntary blood donation awareness & motivational programmes in various parts of the country.

Monica Gupta, Author, journalist and Editor-Jairakt Data also shared his views.

Event was attended by the Sanjay Gupta, COO, ISBTI; Rajinder Saini, Organizing Secretary-Conference and District President, Kurukhshetra ISBTI Chapter; Dr. Paliwal, Monica Gupta and others.
