DK Saraogi, ED, JSPL Inaugurates OP Jindal Occupational Health Centre in Angul

ANGUL (Odisha): A 20-beded OP Jindal Occupational Health Centre (OPJOHC) has been opened under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) inside the premises of Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) here today. It is to be noted that JSPL is setting up integrated steel plant her in Anugl.

Apart from allopathic, ayurvedic and homeopathic treatment facilities are also available at this hospital. Dr Prashant Kumar Saboth, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), OPJOHC, has said, “This hospital will provide 24-hour health care service to the project displaced and affected people as well as JSPL employees and their families.”

In view of providing treatment to patients of different diseases departments including paediatric, G&O, ENT, dental, medicine and physiotherapy etc have been opened here.

Inaugurating the upgraded OPJOHC in a function here, Chief Guest Mr Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, Executive Director, JSPL, said, “OP Jindal Occupational Health Centre is a milestone in the field of health care, and this will be always helpful in providing quality health care service to the PDFs and PAFs as well as JSPL employees and their families.”

Besides seven qualified and experienced doctors, there are 60 para-medical staffers here to offer timely medical assistance to the patients.
