NEW DELHI: Six firms, along with their allied and subsidiary firms have been debarred from business dealings with Ministry of Defence for a period of ten years with effect from 11th April, 2012.
The names of the companies are M/s Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd. (STK), M/s Israel Military Industries Ltd. (IMI), M/s T.S. Kisan & Co. Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, M/s R.K. Machine Tools Ltd. Ludhiana, M/s Rheinmetall Air Defence (RAD), Zurich and M/s Corporation Defence, Russia. Defence Minister Shri Arun Jaitley informed in a written reply to Shri Om Prakash Yadav in Lok Sabha on July 18, 2014.
In addition, business dealings with the following firms have also been suspended indefinitely:-
(i) M/s Shanx Oceaneering.
(ii) Inter Spiro India Pvt. Ltd.
(iii) M/s Experts Systems.
(iv) M/s Unitech Enterprises.
(v) M/s Kelvin Engineering.
(vi) Atlas Group of Companies including M/s Atlas Telecom & M/s Atlas Defence Services.
